Wednesday, 12/28/22, DPW sidewalk clearing

This most recent weather system, 12/23-12/24, brought about a huge amount of thick ice which is too difficult for most people to manage on their own. Due to the nature of this storm, and the fast freeze, the Village DPW will be assisting with the clearing of sidewalks on Wednesday, 12/28/22. No letters will be mailed and no fines will be levied. This last storm, which included warmer temps and rain system, melting, quick freezing, and blinding snow created a situation that is unusual and the DPW will be helping to get sidewalks clear.
